This is one of Kara
Bagley's recipes, but I
substituted blueberries and raspberries for the
strawberries and bananas.
1 cup barley, cooked
1 cup oat groats, cooked and rinsed
1 cup
strawberries, sliced
2 bananas, sliced
1 cup pecans, chopped
Dressing:
½ cup apple cider vinegar
1/3 cup raw honey
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
½ teaspoon salt
1/3 cup flax oil
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
Blend dressing thoroughly. Pour over salad, toss to coat.
